Following on the the RSPCA calling card with mud in the field - and also the loose horse out on the road the other night - do you have any contact info left at your yard/fields?

This is not directed at those in livery yards who usually DO have information displayed as to who to call in an emergency, but those who have small yards or fields for their horses/ponies.

Do you have a laminated (or similar) contact details in case of emergency?

I have on the main gate, a small sign that says

'In case of emergency with livestock on these premises, please telephone ............'
(No name, just my mobile number)
Inside the yard, there is the same notice with my name on it & also the vet practice name & their telephone number.

I used to have the same sign with just a contact number when I rented some extra summer grazing a few years back as this 3 acre field was not adjoining to my land.
I dont live on top of the yard, but 4 miles away.

Just wondering really - do you have info there - and if not, why not?

No we dont. (RSPCA - mud poster here)

We Live very near to our fields and there are several neighbors overlook who have our contact details to use in an emergency. Which they have used before. :)

We have several cases of trespass and people damaging property and chasing the horses around, i wouldnt want to give my number for them to harass us too. The police have our number in case of any problems as we have been logging all the problems we have.

In that case I hope you have notified the police that what seems to be a malicious complaint has been made against you, causing you distress and the RSPCA to waste their time.
