The naughty JRT has nabbed a chocolate advent calendar.

I know all you peeps who reckon you can train a dog not to nick stuff will be horrified. You're welcome to come and try and train my 13 yo reprobate :D.

Firstly he went upstairs (not allowed) after stairgate was accidentally left open. Then into son no 1's bedroom (not allowed). Up onto the bed (not allowed). Then somehow up to pinch the advent calendar from a shelf above the bed (need to add this to the 'not allowed' list).

Luckily he was caught in the act before he'd eaten more than two of the mini chocolates, it's only Cadbury's Dairy Milk so very little actual cocoa in it.

Little barsteward. He's not in the slightest bit repentent.

Our first JRT went upstairs in my in laws house once, and ate through all the wrappings of a box of thorntons continental, and about 5 of the sweets.

As first time dog owners we were absolutely petrified, but thank goodness (though she seemed to have a very fast heartbeat for an hour or so) she was ok.....

Naughty little doggies.....

Our dustbin labx would just about eat the whole calendar, complete with paper every year. I would tell the children to put them up high out of reach but one of them would forget.

My dog ate a whole one the same week he ate a whole big box of Thornton continental. He had foil wrapped poos for a couple of days :D

It was my first Christmas with him and I didn't realise how crafty he was. Same year he also ate half my Christmas cake. Don't worry, he made it through, and I'm much better at hiding stuff. Although it's not easy when he'll open doors and cupboards if stressed.
