Never closes!!
As long as we don't make too much noise, we can be there when we like!
I have been known to be there at 1 in the morning before!

We are told that our yard shuts at 8.30pm, but the gates arent locked and some nights it impossible to be done by then, especially in the winter.

ive been there at 1am too, but YO did text me at midnight to see if i wanted my two brought in out of the storm, i went up because the beds werent down

We are supposed to be off the yard by 9 or 10pm I think...but if horses are poorly/competing, it's ok to come later...as long as we let her know.
I think she is just concerned about security.

the reason i ask is because i have a yard but dont live onsite so I have to go out every evening to do a final check and lock up if everyone's gone (once its locked you cant get in back in). I normally do this on the way home from work (yes i have to work as well :-() about 8.30pm and normally everyones gone. If anyone is out competing then i'll lock up when I go as generally Im last then ill give the spare set of keys to whoever is out so they can let themselves back in and relock when they leave
same in the morning you cant get in until ive unlocked it (6am) which generally is fine unless someone wants to get in earlier which is very very rare!

My yard shuts (and locks) at 10pm. You can stay over with sick horses etc but you're locked onto the property (although it gives access to the cafe etc).

It opens at 5am

And those are the times that the staff are around until also... its never abandoned during opening hours.

No time limits.I'm the only livery.It is a working factory so there are people there at 6am right up until late evening pretty much seven days a week.

last yard anyone could come and go. previous yard was shut or "ideally emptied" by 9pm. current yard is a private house but they seem incredibly flexible and ive been going down at 0715 then staying til 9pm for haynet time with a beer in hand. so far so good

trouble is i want to get in earlier but its so relaxed there im staying later!!

Come and go as i please. Of course i respect the yard, and the YO, so if there very early or very late, i am very quiet, lol

Have key to the barn so don't need to disturb anyone. But on a usual day i am there at 7:00am til 8:00am.
Evenings vary in summer and have been there till 10:00pm faffing around.
Winter there for 4:15pm, gone for anytime before 6:00pm usually
