It's not scarring as badly as I thought....been religiously using botanica cream and bio-oil, it seems to be doing the trick! It's smooth now and make up does the job covering it :)

My nose still twinges occasionally and still can't raise my eyebrows as far as I could before without it feeling 'tight' round there lol....but other than that, it's all good!

Looks like its healing really well.
Be patient and the redness will fade in time.
I fell off and landed face first on a flint which cut through my cheek. Now you would have to look hard to even see the scar but it did take a couple of years to fade completely.

Not much comfort I know but wear your reducing scar with pride - all I have to show from a kick some 30+ years ago is one ear higher than the other! It really confounds the hairdresser when trying to get the cut even :) :)

Hahaha nooo I wish lol!

Anyway, even if that was the case, by the end of next month would be the 3 month mark....which is generally the expiry date on my relationships!

Pleased its healing nicely for you. Must have really hurt! The improvement in pics is amazing. My tb cut his head open to his skull, did post pics on here last summer time. Within 6 weeks it had healed and completely disappeared! Quite amazing really!

My friend got kicked 12 years ago and had a vertical cut through her eyebrow which was stitched.

Now you can't see the scar (she knows where it is and sees it but everyone else has to have her point it out to them in order to see it).

At the time she had blurry vision, light-sensitivity and pain but that all quickly righted itself.

The head has a good blood supply so as well as bleeding copiously (as you probably found out at the time...) skin injuries usually heal quickly.

Now, the only thing she's left with which reminds her of it is every time she plucks her eyebrows and gets to plucking the stray brows from the area that was stitched, she gets a tingle on the top of her head from a nerve.

Your face looks like it's healing very nicely there. Give it 5 months and this summer's sunshine and you'll be hardpushed to see any evidence that it ever happened. Glad you're okay!

Glad it is healing well. My son was hit in the face by the spring under a trailer ramp, broke his cheekbone and 27 stitches to sew his eyelids and cheek back together. His have healed well but still visible at the moment but his hormones dont help. We used CICA gel. Try and get some on prescription if your doctor will. it has special healing properties and is amazing stuff.

Friend ran over her daughter with the trailer (fully loaded with two horses!!) and it took off the flesh from her inner thigh, she had a graft put on and used that cica pads and she was back riding after three months. Doctors were amazed and this is how I heard about it .
