Anybody else?

That was before my time there - i started 88ish i think - although Camanchie does ring a bell - didnt they specialise in Caspian ponies back then too? (I assume this is from the days Pandoora owned it?)

Yes Pandora was the Caspian enthusiast. She had a groom called Kirsten who used to lodge with a couple in Cosby.

When she bought WV she had all the oldies pts wether there was something wrong with them or not.

Thank fully I'd got my own horse by then and left before she got there.

Yeah, i remember Kirsten - i was only there for a couple of years (was only 4 years old when i started!) it was not a 'nice' riding school, but there was a couple of really lovely Caspians the one i remeber was Hotan - he was fantastic. Pandoora used to scare the cr@p out of me! i moved to Leire (South Leicestershire Riding Establishment) and never looked back - learnt so much more from them, Verity has really turned WV around now though hasnt she, only been up a few times to watch my friend and to a few of the competitions.

Hmm Pandora was certainly a desired taste! I didn't know her but heard an awful lot about her (which was awful!)

It's like a breath of fresh air up there now isn't it!
Verity has done an amazing job in turning it around and it continues to improve all the time!

I used to do Paul's clear round jumping at Clawsons a couple of years ago.
Are you still there?

No, not there anymore - not since i went to Uni 6 years ago, then moved yards and had a free lance instructor (who is great). Bought my old mare (chesnut in the sig) from Paul - i learnt so much from them, JP Sheffield was my first instructor up there, then Paul and occasionally Oliver Townend - even got to meet Andrew Nicholson there! Was a great yard was there for 12 years - still keep in touch with them sometimes.

Verity has done brilliantly - always recommend them for beginners and novices - they really instill confidence.
