If your horse was a dog, what breed would it be?

My welsh cob Lili - would be a Rottie! Black and tan (erm, bay), a bit of attitude and really a big lump.

Mine would be a rottie too, a big clumsy lump, fairly brave, aloof with people she doesn't know, big softy to people she knows and a little bit of attitude!!

lol chuihaha!

Erm my newfie would def me a jack russell, very confident, cocky but sweety at heart. Im stuck on wat my cow horse would be though....

Trixie would be Toby - slow, quiet, gentle and loving - lives on fresh air!

Lottie would be a red setter - bit brainless, up for a bit of action but not too often and likes her home comforts

Tazlet would have been some form of terrier - stubborn as hell but worth the effort

Big H would been a lab - the eqine dustbin!

Mine are a straight swap, Cow Horse for Cattle Dog!!!! Both very similar, intelligent, stocky yet very manoeuvrable, fast to change direction and sprint like a dragster!!. I guess the Dogs and the Horses were bred for a similar job to sort out ornary cows, which is why they are so alike!!!

Tricks- Labrador. Soft and daft and loving food. he would be a "Lap"rador!

Crispin- Irish setter! Cunning, clever, naughty but pretty! He uses his prettiness to get away with murder!

Sorbs- I really dont know! She is just a complete sweetie but a bit woosey. Maybe a whippet.

Dozzie-Name me a breed! generally laid back but has her moments. Lovely temperament, very kind but occasionally can get stressed and will nip. Gets on with everybody. If in pain will let you know big time. Clever, learns quickly and takes a long time to forget. Maybe GSD! Just not energetic enough really! GSD x mastiff!

She is a chubby, far too cute, good dooer

She has big, dopey, expressive ears; such soppy, loving eyes, and just a puppy dog face.

She is born to work,

and thrives on it, but largely cause she loves to play

, and wants to be everyones' best friend.

She is so puppy like that I want to bring her home and put her in my back garden

(Popple would love that

)

Star - she is like a GSD - not just as in she is black and tan

, but that she is quirky and incredibly sensitive, but equally loyal to the death. She is highly tuned to your emotions, yet bold and reliable.

If you wanted a companion, this is who you would choose. If you wanted someone as your child's companion, this is who you would choose....

When I write this I am struck by how lucky I have been with horses and dogs I have been lucky enough to know.....

Robin, the Paint, is a big, laid back lump and would be a Newfie or St Bernard.

Juno, QH, also a laid back lump given the opportunity, but quite smart and can shift if she wants to, maybe a lab?

Lola, hmm, sensitive, highly strung, fine boned - some sort of gazehound

Apollo and Sephie, greyhound crosses, definitely lurchers.

Charley, affectionate, always needs to be doing something, keen to please, some sort of terrier I think, or perhaps a spaniel.

Zeus, lab.

Baby, ridiculously affectionate and pretty smart for a foal, one of those rather ugly, hairy, scruffbutt mongrels that are the best friend you could ever want.
