Following riding in the dark...where to buy the stuff...

I've just been reading the post on riding in the dark.

I do ride out round our very quiet housing estate, and am lucky to see 3 maybe 4 cars on an hours hack, in the evening.

I go out in, leg wraps, martigale, ex sheet, hi viz coat with tabbard over saying slow down, bridle kit, light on boots and light clipped to martingale.

A lot of you have said you have lights. Where did you get them from? Are they horsey ones, or bike ones? How do you attatch them to your neds?

I have some off ebay, but they're small and I'm wondering if they're enough?

So...point us all in the right direction please.

I got my lights from Robinsons. They're supposed to go around your arms/legs but I put them round my stirrups and then I know they're not going to fall off!!!

I'm not saying they will fall off, I'm just paranoid about things like that.

i got my head light from tesco for a tenner you pay up to 30 for one from a riding company ususally

probably cheaper to look for stuff for cyclists rather than horse specific, attach the lights to you rather than the horse!
