If you came across cattle who were suffering who would you call??

I ask because a neighbour out walking found two calves penned rather randomly in a field with an older cow grazing nearby. One calf was on the floor very obviously dying and the other was severely emaciated and still just upright but swaying.

She called RSPCA not really knwing what else to do and they seemed somewhat vague. They didnt get back to her dispite promising they would.

Im not sure who I would have contacted in these circumstances......???

I'd phone them back and ask if anyone has been to look at the cattle, if they haven't I'd get stern with them saying nothing is happening and want something done before they suffer any further.

Then take it from there...
