Food glorious fooood!

Well, Beastie normally eats Burns food but I've ran out. She scoffed the last of it last night (I was sure I had another bag in the shed, but turned out I was wrong!) the local pet shop (that opens late so I'm going there tonight) doesn't stock Burns or Nutro Choice so what would be the next best? She needs to have as low protein as possible. Is James Beloved any good?

Any advice would be appreciated.

Mine are on JW but I tried the Burns for a while and didn't notice much difference. The formulation is very similar and it's wheat and additive free and they do it in little bags so you could get enough for a couple of days to try it.

I got her the duck flavour and she scoffed it down. So a success! And it's only 3% more protein than Burns so pleased with that.

JWB didn't go down well with any of mine - the whippets didn't really like it and it made the labrador very itchy. Changed to Simple Systems 'Dogs Dinner' - it's less than half the price of JWB and they all love it and look fab!!

Must make sure she doesn't get itchy then as she would suffer from that. I haven't seen Simple Systemes before..is it a dried food? I did consider Wainwright, but then I've never heard anything about it, but have heard good things about JWB.

Steer clear of James WB...try Royal Canin thats a very good food.

You will probably want to ignore this but if you fed raw you would have had a quick trip to the freezer, the Supermarket or even the local shop. (+ No wheat or other cheap bulk (rice, potato starch, soya etc) and no artifical colours flavours vitamins or addatives)
