I have a ISH mare that is extremely sensitive when it comes to feeding. She's quite jumpy but when i give her certain foods such as, pasture mix, hi fi, calm and condition etc....
She's on a powdered calmer at the moment as well as carrots, apple, moly chaff, Cool Stance and garlic. That's all she doesn't freak out on! Betsy i quite under weight as i only got her about 4 months ago, and i know she needs some sort of fibre or another "filler".
Last time she was on anything nutty, she managed to get me off on ever ride as she was so excitable. Bucking and Broncking every time we went into Canter.
I've had her saddle looked at by 2 different saddlers and they both said that there is nothing wrong with the saddle. I've had physio on her and nothings tight or sore so all i can narrow it down to is the feed that's causing her to behave like this...
Hope some one can help and please let me know if you have/know of a horse that sounds like Betsy!
