?foot abcess

tb was lame wednesday when been lunged, not had any turnout for a week due to wheather , poulticed wednesday , no signs of any abcess, thurs poutliced, farrier came friday and shod, no signs of any abcess that could see just skin around heal is cut ? maybe that?, leg swollen and hot !! vets given danilon for few days, hot poulticed last night and again this am, leg still swollen any ideas!! xx

What did the vet suggest it may be?

How far up the leg is swollen? If it was the lower leg, possibly suggest a hoof abcess but higher I would think not. Best let vet take a look.

vet tx for possible abcess, just around tendon area that is swollen and hot no signs any further up, is more comfortable this am now on danilon.
