I know a lot of you won't really care but i just thought i'd share with you what Mossburn went through last time, and how people rallied round to help

i think it makes interesting reading anyway.
I'm all teary reading back through it and how much support we had.

Our perfectly healthy goats and sheep were to be slaughtered. I won't go on about it, just let you read the news articles and things.

article showing our barricade against the MAFF vans

Website that told of our situation and let people know where we were and when we needed help. We had some people camping out in our barns to stay to help us! (read it from the bottom)

and the news article from when the duchess of hamilton came to unveil the memorial that stands in the gardens.

I really really hope they can stop it from spreading this time. We learned a lot back in 2001 and i've got my fingers crossed it's an isolated case!

! I think its great when the 'little man' can win against the 'big guys', it gives you some hope that it can happen again! I sincerely hope that it all ends soon with as little damage to livestock and the farmers! Fingers crossed for all concerned. Mairi.
