Foot balance Xrays

Hi, I'm considering getting some foot balance xrays done of my horse's feet as I'm unhappy with his shoeing. I was wondering if it was possible to get them done without taking the shoes off. His shoes have been on and off too often in recent weeks and his feet are breaking up, so I'd really rather avoid that if possible.

I find the nails strangely spooky on xrays with shoes on

Yes, you can do foot balance x rays with or without shoes on.

Agree, I’ve had X-rays both with and without shoes, as I remember basic foot balance with and more in depth without.
