Foot experts advice please

As most of you know I do not comment on Photos.
But wedges do not raise the heel, they are attached to them, so they LOWER them, making the heels the first thing to touch the ground, therein lies the problem, this may help when it comes to understanding footfall. http://www.rockfoot.com/footfall.html

Oh they are cool, haven't seen those before! Have been looking at old mac g2's as a suitable option, but then start looking at the options and feel bamboozled! Bring on the experts!!

Boots and pads are a great idea. I've got G2's and they are a bit fiddly to fasten, however they are very secure I like my Cavallos more though, so easy to use.
