What about these? I hate them as I get really bad cramp in them, but my friend absolutely loves them. She has issues with the soles of her feet and finds the larger area really helps. I think I push my heels to far down so I'm not using the whole surface area.

I'd not seen them. They seem a good option if the ones I'm borrowing don't help. Thanks.

I have a similar problem, stirrups really painful as is using the clutch in the car and walking in heels. Feels like I am walking on sharp stones. Just come back from South Africa on a horseback safari, riding for 5 hours a day in a saddle with stirrups with a 4 inch tread, no pain at all. I am going to look to buy something similar at home.

That sounds very promising and similar to what my foot feels like. I'm looking forward to trying the wide tread stirrups.
