My feet are soaking wet and freezing!! The Joules wellies i bought a few months ago are not waterproof - V annoyed!! Then put my muckers on but the horses field is a bog in the gateway so theyre now soaked also.

Is it possible to get tall waterproof muckers? or decent wellies that have fur lining with a 'mucker type foot'? Ive tried my welly socks in my hunter wellies but my feet still get cold.

Many thanks
Sam :)

Ive got the WW long muckers, they are lovely and warm!

BUT

They are not waterproof over foot height so when your foot sinks in a muddy bog = wet feet! (but good for when the mud is all frozen - only good thing about this weather lol)

Aigle do some amazingly warm neoprene lined wellies that last for ever! What size are you? I'm trying to sell my fur lined welly type boots that don't fit me, worn once :(

the muck boots with the higher rubber part are fab!! I even had water over the top of it and still never leaked, its neoprene so shouldn't do

got some FAB fur lined wellies for like £12.99 the other day from a shop called decathlon. Does loads of cheap but nice sports stuff including horsey - dont know if is a one off shop but i imagine its a chain.

dubarry do a fleece and fur liner that keeps your feet toasty.

i know ive mentioned them before, but dubarrys are amazing for people who get cold feet.
ive worn mine in thigh high snow with only a thin pair of socks and ive been warm, i found the liners to be a little warm too sometimes and for me thats great as wellies leave my feet like iceblocks.

buy a pair of builders boots called Rigger Boots, they are fur lined right down to the toe and can withstand any weathers. Steel toed also for those moments your horse has two left feet. Do a google search for them as ebay is not always the cheapest place to get stuff....

I think our local Edinburgh Woollen Mill shop has sold out of their fur lined and soled high mucker type boots at £40 because I told all my friends about them :D They are fab, really warm and keep my feet dry and toastie even in cold sloppy mud :)

Another vote for woofwear long yard boots - even when I did sink into a bog(or two!) on a rather impromptu shoot, my feet were still warm despite being a bit damp - even then they were not soaking, just damp:D They are also comfy enough to walk for miles in.
