I have a footwear problem. I have big feet for a girl (size 10) but thin calfs. I find that if I wear short boots and chaps, I have to get mens boots (which are too big around the ancles) and childrens chaps (which don't fit properly around the boots) making it uncomfortable.

At the moment I ride in Muck boots and chaps. But the muck boots aren't ideal as they often slip in the stirrups.

Long boots are too wide around my calfs.

Does anyone have any footwear suggestions to solve my dilema? I've seen quite expensive long boots with laces at the back, any information on them?

Thanks!

What about the mountain horse synthetic chaps? They are like leggings and very stretchy. They come up small in all sizes. I ride in the lace up boots with these which are unisex and fit fine..

theres some musto lace ups on the equestrian clearance webistie for about £35, I got them about 6 months ago and love them and for that price you cant really grumble
