Oh gosh - I'm old enough to have had a spacehopper when they were originally around. We used to try and make them look like ponies and we actually did dressage tests on them! (It's actually a very good way of learning a test if anyone fancies trying it!)

I think I'll just buy one and take it along to do my next dressage test on, as a joke, I recon it will go down a storm!

omg, they are the best things ever!!! I do already have a spacehopper (and proud of it!) but they look absolutly brilliant!!

Oh please make someone video it and post it on here!

LOL I'm more likely to fall of that than a real one

I'd love one though, could maybe smuggle it in on the basis that OH's grandchildren would have hours of fun on it..... after they'd got it off me

I'm actually quite tempted! Can I justify it on the grounds that it would be good exercise?!!

yes come on guys, lets all buy one, we even jump them....we could have a horsey hopper one day event and sent in our vidoes.....got to be worth a giggle surely!

Sounds great but i have a couple of concerns.
Do they box OK and i'm also worried about the platting do you think the mane is long enough or will we have to hog

Boxing is easy (a cardboard one is best!!) and you only hog for SpaceCobber classes!

I'm more concerned about feeding - they look like good doers to me!

I've got a blue one (!) - seems ok, took a while to settle in and can be a bit dead to the leg at times but great fun.

For heaven's sake, don't try spurs on it will you?!!

My 6 year old has these!! They are brilliant, we had our own "day at the races" with them in the garden in the summer, sooo much fun esp. with a barbie and a few wines!

I had the original orange one! showing my age. Do you think they are easy to school or are they for numpty riders!!!

They're actually pretty forigiving and quite suitable for novices. Jumping ability is limited and they don't do water (they just roll over in it!) but their piaffe/passage work can be wonderful - even without a double bridle
