aren't you tempted to ask where this person in Newton Aycliffe got it from - isn't Pippa based in the South East and Newton Aycliffe is County Durham. Why would she have sold a saddle?

Hmm would guess Pippa's saddles would go back to Devoucoux direct who then sell them on, cannot imagine would be sold through a Devoucoux dealer especially as Devoucoux deal direct! I have bought second hand Devoucoux before from a dealer but he was not and would not say he was in any way linked with Devoucoux.

i agree with you others..but also surely a saddle like that would be worth keeping for other horses in the futrue the odd £1000 wouldnt really b worth it selling would it...not v believable!!

Don't forget...she's 'only' an eventer...Will might be the lesser figure in that marriage, but his income from SJ'ing and dealing will dwarf hers
