And anyone else who remembers, and helped, when it was thought this old lady would need rehoming. Saffy at 14 years :)

To recap the story, her owner died very suddenly and his son felt unable to keep Saffy as he and his partner both worked full time and his partner was allergic to dogs. The did however decide to try, and to cut things short, this picture was taken 3 years later, she is adored and goes everywhere with them.

Aw bless her, what a lovely pic!

Did you say she was once on the front of the National mag playing in the snow? If so I found one the other day if you want me to post it.

ETA - gosh, what were you thinking trying to help rehome a dog you bred at that age, are you mad? **rollseyes**

You are clearly bonkers, how will you ever make a fat profit by actually giving two hoots about what you brought into the world?

Lovely old girl.:)

Its alright, I have learned the error of my ways. Evie's pups are 5 months old next week so only a few more days and I can wash my hands of them.

She was the cover girl of the National yes CC, I have a framed copy thanks very much.:)

What a lovely old girl and she looks so well, so glad it worked out for her.:)

Im glad you have learnt the error of your ways, you and Cayla have had a huge learning curve today.:D

LOL, it does look like an olympic medal doesn't it. I'm not sure where it came from but apparently someone awarded it to her for reaching the grand old age of 14. :D
