For christ sake he's 2!!!!

Lets hope that the horse was only being sat on to demonstrate it's quiet temperament, and that it isn't doing any work.

I do agree that he looks very babyish, and rider is a bit heavy to be on him, but it might have been a 10 minute sit in the yard.

When I had a 2 1/2 year old Welsh D, I did occasionally hop up onto him in the stable, but would never dream of tacking him up and taking him out for a ride

To make 16.2hh and only 14.3hh i think not, and in any case if he was going to make that height then surely that is even more of a reason not to ride him as he is clearly a slow maturer as that breed is well known to be.

Our rising three year old hasn't done much at all, he has been bitted and led around the village but off the head collar, we plan to show him in hand this year. he has had a saddle on and girthed up just for education reasons more than anything. Oh and been sat on bare back by my two year old nephew who weighs less than a rug!!!

I have a three year old race horse she was backed at 18 months and raced as a two year old. We got her at two and i sat on her for five minutes twice a week, just to keep her under saddle, she was 15.3hh when we got her now 16.1hh and a handful, so sat on her to keep a level of control for when i wanted to re start her in the spring. Would never have done more than that for one thing you could feel she wasn't ready, compared to now. She is a monster and turns four in March. Don't think she'll grow up anymore though, serveral people have thought she was ISH x or warmblood x.

Unfortunatly that won't happen as these advertising websites need to make money and they won't turn down money whether they agree with the advert or not.

I can honestly say if I received an advert like this I would send it straight back, lost revenue or not. That poor horse is so completely immature, his stance is terrible (bracing to hold the weight on his young legs it seems!) and he looks miserable.

I do know people who have just "sat" on two year olds, but they are very well developed and large horses, this is far from it. They have certainly not tacked up fully and ridden...this poor boy looks to need at least another year

He looks to weak to take her as a rider.

My two and a half year old, has done nothing. Walks in a head collar, pick out feet, groom and had a fleece over his back the first time this week. This summer he will get used to tack and walks around the villiage in hand but not ridden. Then at four he will get backed as he isnt built up enough to take a rider.
