Nancy is Welsh section B, 21, has been our long term loan companion for nearly 3 years now and is truly the pony from heaven. She came to us with COPD. She is well mannered, easy, gets on with everybody and is a total angel.

Although we manage her carefully (no hay, no proximity to stables/bedding, etc. etc.) her COPD has been getting worse and this hot humid weather has brought on a really bad bout. In all probability it will pass when the weather breaks and she will go back to normality. But, her breathing is very laboured to the extent that we worry about her heart. The trouble is that each bout gets worse.

Her owner and the vet are coming on Friday so that we can all have a discussion about where we go from here. I cant help feeling that things are not looking good, but we cant bear to see her in distress.

We also heard today that her last baby has just qualified for RIHS.

So please can you save up some vibes for us on Friday?

((((((((((Big Vibes))))))))))))))) for friday. I am sure what ever happens it will be the right decision hope everything goes okx

Lots of hugs. If it's any help a friend of mine has a COPD pony & he's been worse than usual this year. At the moment she's finding he's better coming in to an airy stable than left out in the day, the small amount of dust being in seems preferable to the pollens outside.

I have a pony with bad rao/copd/summer pasture she had nebulised medication and has done for nearly 10 years now, before this she was so weezy she couldn't be ridden and was really bad at harvest and when all the blackthorn was in flower. If you want any information please contact me. hope all works out for the best.

(((Vibes)))

Hope she will be Ok.
