It is possible to get your mojo back. Using a combination of NLP and support from good friends in RL and on the forum D and I have started jumping again and I'm loving it. Last week we did 1ft6, this week 2ft. Still tiny given what she can jump but its all steps in the right direction.

If you're feeling like you want to jump but it scares you, give it a go, you might just remember what you're missing.

I happily popped small jumps for 40 years and then went and has some lessons. I haven't been the same since!! The only horse I am brave enough to jump is my old darling but he is now 30 so that won't last long.

It is great to hear you have got your nerve back. Enjoy.

ive never been much of a jumper, strangely enough ive always prefered to jump difficult horses + then a few years ago i fell off + broke my pelvis, so since then my jumping mojo has gone completley!!im not sure that i will ever really be able to get back into it.

Last xmas, I fell off whilst jumping and tore all the muscles across my abdomen. Since then my confidence on other horses is fine, but I struggled with the horse I fell off. This was a problem as I own him and he's a born jumper.

I have found a fantastic instructor & kept the horse jumping with a brilliant rider. In the last month I'm got back in the driving seat and for the first time today, I did two clear rounds with him. We did have a tricky moment or two, but I'm so excited for the future & so glad I hung in there.

I want to get my confidence back jumping but my mare gets excited and tries to bronc a bit after the jump so we went back to basics with poles, small cross, small upright but I can still feel she wants to go back to her broncing and i'm reluctant to make the jumps bigger because thats when shes more likely to misbehave.

I used to love jumping but now I cant stop myself getting nervous about it. I've never fallen off her jumping but my instructor did after doing a double with a 3'3 spread. Oops.
