for my new horse - she is ISH but is 7/8ths Thoroughbred and has much smaller head than last horse and none of my bridles fit!!!! I have her in an old hunter bridle at mo - the plain cavesson does actually suit her at 1.25" thick. So what do you all use on horses with fine head - i think i will either have to get full and get cob cheeks or get cob and get her new browband.

I like the comfort styles but budget is £80 max so cant afford an elavator... I need to sell my other bridles first if i wanted something a bit more special and that will take time and want something soon!!

pics would be great of your horses in their nice bridles :)

Oh poo I was gonna say an elevator as got one for my TB and love it and she is quite a fine head and took an extra full when everything else is full with straps to top holes!!

Or there are nice Stubben comforts out now that we got for our TB gelding but it was £115 thereabouts.

There are nice comfort bridles alot cheaper if you google you will find loads or try ebay??

Have just bought a J.Barclay comfort bridle off ebay for about £40, fits nice, looks good - a good quality low end bridle. Comes with flash unfortunately but other than that really pleased with it.
