Just spotted there is one for sale over there >>>. Absolutely nothing to do with me or anyone I know, I just know there have been a number of people considering buying them and they aren't that readily available. Haven't even looked at the ad so don't know what it's like but if you are one of those people take a peek over there>>

I've known two in my time, the people who sold ebony to me had a mare and a gelding, they were both brilliant horses

Ooh, would love an update on the visit! My OH who is not yet a rider LOVES the look of chunky monkeys and I showed him that ad a few days ago. He thought she was glorious! Would love to know if you purchase her. :)

Do tell us how it goes. They are so few and far between it is a bit of an event when one becomes available. Nice that she has her tail, as well. I just love the breed and the similar Belgian draught.

We are viewing her next week...Thursday :)
She fits my criteria other than being a bit on the young side and being a mare lol. Her owners seem like very lovely and incredibly genuine people. I feel so sorry for them having to part with her. I have had a few pics and she is a cracker. She has been professionally backed and ridden away...the hubby rides her everywhere bareback :) She has also pulled logs and is completely unfazed by children/dogs/traffic/farm machinary. Good to travel and for farrier etc :D
