ahh - where did you get that? I have both mine (and trailer) insured with them - have now gone through my policy and can't see that. Can you confirm/deny before I waste time on the phone?

i am with them had no probs! had 2 claims within 5 months for 2 diff horses!! the first was loss of use they paid 70% of her value (cos i kept her) and full vet and hospital fees 2nd mare saddly had to be put to sleep they paid the full value of her and full vet fees that was with me only paid 1 month insurance for her!

They've always paid my vet and hospital bills less the excess up to the limit on the policy which is 5k. I suppose if the total was 10k then it would be 50%?!

NFU have always paid my vet bills in full (less the excess). I think they will only pay 50% of the cost of an MRI scan and a percentage of livery and transport costs if your horse is unlucky enough to have to go to horsepital. Maybe some confusion here?

i've just had a final payout from them. they paid the vets in full. hospitalization/stabling fees were 50% and as another poster said a MRI.

hmm, I will be ringing for clarification - not needing to make a claim but think I should double check to confirm I do have the cover I think I have!
