For those at Malpas tomorrow

Thanks for that- I was wondering what the conditions were like as we have had so much rain here in Lancashire! We are doing the BE100 tomorrow- how did it ride? Any bogey fences?

The going was great, I was doing the BE90 but when I walked the course wished I was doing the BE 100, it looked fine. Show jumping was up to size. Good Luck for tomorrow

I was doing the XC scoring today so know how the course rode. The water caused quite a few problems as it's very murky but faults were spread around the course apart from that although the 1st fence caught a few out. Walk the course well as we had quite a few eliminations for missed fences!

That is excellent advice- I shall pass it on to my daughter as she is the jockey!- Many thanks herewego and lizzieb!

Sorry Maesfen, ment to let you know but has been manic here!! and my head isd like a sieve, put it down to being OLD. Good luck if you are there today, I had a great day yesterday was 12th so quite pleased.

I was there yesterday to, everyone was lovely and very friendly, dressge warm up was far too cramped though especially as my horse was totally on one!

Cross country caused problems all around, the water always catches a few out especially be100, my horse for those there is very memorable as I fell off him when he flatly refused to go near fence 7, he then took off flat out home until he met his mate just started the crosscountry, so deceided to join him and follow him jumping behind over the next couple of fences!
I was following at the rear in one of the kind officials car.

Eventually we did separate him from his mate ( he refused to follow him over fence 7 again ) and I finally got him over it on my last life to complete the course.

Hope all those today faired better :)
