I've just seen on the camping section of the Badders website that there are no electrical hook ups. Does anyone know if there are any sources at all? Just thinking we are there from Thurs morning to Sunday afternoon and I will have no way of charging my mobile/ipod etc!!

Suppose I will buy car chargers if not, was just thinking about it, so anyone with info?

Ta!

I can live without my phone and ipod...it's not being able to dry or straighten my hair for 4 days that I hate! I end up looking like a scarecrow as soon as I wash my hair

well we were thinking about that too! But hair straighteners use so much more power than chargers, have no idea how could hook straighteners up to anything.

That's what hats are for!

you can get an adaptor that you plu into your ciggie lighter in your car that you can plug a normal 3 point plug into, thus allowing you to use your straighteners......

Have looked into this quite a bit......as far as I know, an invertor with enough power to run straighteners would zap the car battery to smithereens apparently??? and be mega expensive...

Generator is your best bet, but you do have to let them know as they put all the lorrys with generators in one field to keep noise levels down for those that don't have them!

We were a bit naughty and didn't let on as can get a bit loud when everyone puts them on at the same time!
