Well, she's hit the 2 month marker now and she is still making MASSIVE improvements!
She can't really be faulted for her manners anymore and is just such a pleasure to have around (something I never thought I'd say during the first fortnight!
). She had quite a serious soreness in her back which we have hopefully got on top of and will remain on top of through regular treatment. I splashed out and bought her her very own saddle (cost more than she did!
) rather than making do with the ones I had here, and she was wonderful for her saddle fitting - it took place only the second time I had sat on her and I was vaguely wondering whether I might end up on the floor seeing as I had an audience
She is now hacking out around the farm tracks a couple of times a week - just enough to keep her occupied but not enough to put too many miles on her baby clock.
She has the most fantastic attitude, and despite being so utterly nappy in her first couple of weeks here I don't think she has even had a backwards thought flit through her mind lately - on her first hack out she very much had the attitude 'Right, I'm going exploring, I don't care whether anyone else comes with me or not!' and promptly strode out and left the 'nanny' horse behind, LMAO!
Anyway, just thought I would keep those of you that are interested up to date. I'll pop a couple of pics in the PG.
