Hey guys just thought I would let you all know. Went out on Sunday afternoon to clear a couple of fields from some Ragwort that had sprung up. Went out with the quad and trailer, with SuperKat, Karen and the dog. We were in the top corner of the 2 year olds field and spotted a group of 3 people trying to approach our youngsters, then another two people appeared. So SK and Karen jumped on the bike with me and we hot wheeled it across the field to the people, they saw us coming and ran out of the field. Any way foot power against a 60mph quad had no chance and we caught up with them. There turned out to be 7 of them in total (glad to say we had a happily snarling staffie with us

). Any way we found they had taken some of the electric fencing away so it looked like they were trying to round up our youngsters. Well we frightened them off, got the police out and the farm manager.

So then decided to move the horses out of those fields, that was entertaining! NOT . . . 6 youngsters, a thunder and lightening storm with hailstones. Well we managed it after a couple of slight hiccups! Then moved our broodmares as well as the mob we had come across had come out of the mares field first!

So please all beware in the area! if you do usual checks at certain times, start throwing in some random checks on your horses, even in the pissing rain as these sort of people obviously go out deliberately in bad weather when they think no-one will be around.

O bloody hell glad you managed to catch up with them! Thanks for the warning, Ill mention it to our YO!!! Hope the babies werent too scared by them!
