I have 3!! I love them all dearly.

Kingy is 22 this year, (same as me) had him since we were both 5, he will never leave me, most amazing horse I have ever ridden, and i've ridden some in my years!! He only looks 6 or 7 so he is out on loan to a 14 yr old girl who is absolutely ecstatic cos shes found out she can go to shows and win with minimal effort from herself!!

Rory is just 2. We've had him nearly a year and he was completely wild when I got him, lovely boy now, most affectionate horse ever. Great personality, and striking to look at with elevated paces, can't wait to get on his back!!

And Bonnie a mare I loan for myself to ride until Rory's ready, she's a bit of a lunatic, but lots of fun and shes starting to come on in leaps and bounds in the last two months.

Ride Bonnie, every day, and usually lunge Rory, but due to his age he only takes about 10 or so minutes lungeing as long as he's listening to me so not that time consuming, when Rory's ready for backing, my mum will ride Bonnie as hopefully she'll be a bit more sane by then!!

I also ride other peoples!! I can't get enough, I never get home till very late, but I wouldn't have it any other way!!

Salad I ride a couple or 3 times a week if I have time, he gets to do a lot of the ride and lead stuff with my little girl.

OMG! That has got to be the cutest name for a horse ever!

I have 2. My old mare of 25 went into semi retirement after pulling her stifle end Dec. She is sound but just can't physically do all that I want to still do so decided to buy another horse. Had new horse since mid April and although I'm skint most of the time and have no life (divorced so my time is all my own!!!!) I love them both and wouldn't change a thing!!

I have no idea why I have three - it just happened!

The cob is hacked a couple of times a week, lunged once and schooled twice and has some very very occassional trips out to dressage parties.

The oldie is 33 and gets hacked once a week (I try for twice but it's not always doable

) just to keep him ticking over.

The mare is busy being a mum to nearly-a-yearling and we're in the process of trying for another baby for next year.

I have four, a 12 yr old mare who is lame.... a 3 yr old who isn't broken...... a section b who we couldn't sell & our new foal who comes home in September. It's a massive juggling act and only possible cos I keep them on a farm two mins from my house and they don't mind me coming and going whenever I please....

I am a one-horse person now, but did have two for about 9 years.

When my old gelding got to 25 I bought a 5yr old so I could do a bit more. The old boy was still ridden regularly (by lighter people than me!) until he was 32, and lived to 34.

I only ever had 2 because I could never have sold the old one, having promised the person who gave him to me that I would look after him for the rest of his life - I couldn't really afford two, but wanted to compete again so had no choice!

ive got 2 to ride plus a 2yo on DIY
mostly hack the older mare as shes semi retired-usually gets ridden every other day
school hack and compete the 5yo-ridden 6-7days a week.
plus full time job and on call.winter is a struggle lol

we have 43 horses...most are stud stallions...foals younsgters ready to break and broadmares...we only have about 11 in work at mo..and i ride about 4 a day and about 5 in the weekends....they all get ridden once a day if possible and once every other on school days....get ridden less in summer as they are out.
