For those of you with more than 1 dog......

I have often wondered to myself "what if I had to let one dog go for any reason? For instance if I could only have 2 dogs.
I honestly couldn't decide so it must mean I love them all as much. They are totally different characters and each has their own special bond with me
ETS i have 3 dogs

I love all my dogs (4 Border Collies) for different reasons, I lost my old boy last Easter and miss him like mad. Yes, there are times when 1 has done something really good and I'm really proud and happy with that dog (like when Skye qualified and competed at Cruft in agility) or times when 1 has done something really bad and I say 'why do I have dogs!', but I really couldn't say I love 1 more than another and I couldn't be without any of them.

eeek, what a hard question! No I genuinely love all my dogs and try very hard not to have favourites and to keep things equal! I love them all for different reasons and they all hold different roles in the family...and create different problems! I have been through a lot with little Ellie over the years and have a very strong bond with her, I cant imagine life without Ellie in it and if I'm upset shes the first one I call for cuddle! At the same time she tends to get a lack of attention at times as shes not a trouble maker and pretty much easy going to a fault! I work hard to make sure she doesnt get too forgotten or left out in day to day chaos! I took her shooting on saturday, seriously cant believe I have never taken her before she was an absolute star and on the ground we were working saturday actually outshone Flora! She thoroughly enjoyed it and will be taken to that shoot regularly now.
Flora I do a lot with and shes very demanding (as are most vizzies!) also velcro dogs so shes always close to me, always talking to me, she takes a lot of my time and I'm proud of her and our joint achievements, shes very special to me and has a special place in my heart as the dog that opened up new hobbies and interests. She also makes me laugh on a daily basis, who couldnt love a perpetual clown!
Tilly tends to get left to her own devices to an extent as well as she is quiet and content at home to sleep, she comes for occasional cuddles and always greets me with a thudding tail in the mornings. I'm proud of her and how far she has come from the foster I took in all those years ago, shes the oldest member of the family and I feel like I have had her forever, I struggle to remember those early days now. I love her as the wonderful wise old dog that has been through so much both in her bad start and since with me. She is my protector and the one that makes me feel safe. Shes caused many an issue over the years but I love her through all of it.
Milo is the pet of the family really so I tend to do less with him than the others in regards to outside activity, he has no working role, so he comes for random days out to things he would like to watch! Hes a watcher! I love his cuddles and his specialness! He's such a character and eternally happy as larry in his own little world, he never fails to make me smile. He's such a kind natured drip, nobody could not love him!
Yep I love them all, for different things!
