for those who are interested in Jordan Ross & daphi

I never for once believed that the horse was actually his. And that house???? It would appear that he has spent a fair bit of time 'inside' so I very much doubt that he has a good enough job to pay for a house like that, more likely it's mummy and daddy and horsey sister who live there.

Yep, I realised that!!!

Ummmm. Very sad - if its true.

You know, I'm so awful, I thought the same thing and then felt terrible about it

think everyone thought that so i wouldnt feel bad.

You didn't read it very well then Puppy. How would you feel if you got that response to posting your horse was dead

[/ QUOTE ]

Mine was the second quote down. It was a gut reaction and I wasn't proud of it, but having read JR's vitriol (and this is an understatement) and oversensitivity when offered advice (again, an understatement) on here, I believe had cause. Whilst I GENUINELY, having read his posts, feel most deeply his loss, I suddenly find myself exasperated that he's venting his grief and shock out on his vet.

God, the more I read on the post - the more you realise what a very peculiar guy he is.

Hey ho. Terrible to loose the horse like that. But hysterics are really totally over the top.

I wonder how long it'll take for him to be banned from NR for the swearing that he is now writing? Sorry for the loss of his horse but to be honest, I have never believed anything he's said before. I also think he needs his mouth washed out with soap.

How charitable

Here Here, poor guy has lost his horse in a horrible way, hopefully he will find comfort on NR, he'll certainly find very little here!

For heaven's sake. More than one of us believed and said that his crashing ignorance could lead to some kind of disaster, as well as his refusal to take advice from anybody.

Believe me, it gives me no pleasure to know that we could have been proved right, the loss of a horse is always tragic - but I am sure you would be singing a different tune if it transpired that he did contribute to this in some way, even if it was simply by turning away all offers of help.

Well, happily, he didn't do either of these things. It's very easy to judge when you don't know all the facts, whoever's fault that is.

I'm glad somebody is aware of all the circumstances and has been keeping a regular eye on things - since all the rest of us have for information is his account

since all the rest of us have for information is his account

I have to say this is mostly his call and I was taken aback by the difference in his RL persona and the Forum impression he gives.

He will be absolutely heartbroken because he loved her, and like any one of us would be (quite unnecessarily), going over what he could have possibly done to cause it

I can, however, see where everyone is coming from with this and why. So not judging

You have no need to worry that you were proved right, JR got plenty of advice, which he always took and acted on, both from members on here and on NR.

What he obviously didn't do is take the kind of comments we have seen on this post very well, and who can blame him. His reaction may have been inappropriate but the sentiment was probably not.

I have it on the authority of HHO people who actually took time out and visited that the horse was in excellent condition and well loved.

Can I suggest if people cant say anything nice or sympathetic then they say nothing.

[ QUOTE ]
his response to most advice was to reject it, quite rudely usually

[/ QUOTE ]

He had clearly changed his tune on NR then, he seemed to take advice very well if it was politely put. He was very keen to check that he was doing things correctly and was also looking into livery yards to give him some help over winter.

He desperately loved that horse, I can only imagine what he is going through right now.

The advice he was given on here was 'politely put' as well. He seemed to delight in throwing it back in people's faces though. You are clearly not in tune with the disgusting manner in which he conducted himself on here.

I think this whole thing is really sad, I have watched Jordans threads from the start and like some others on here have switched from feeling sad for him one minute to amazed by his rudeness the next.

I hope Daphi didn't suffer and I hope Jordan can remember the good times and not this recent tragedy.

as a naughty P.S - It doesn't take much googling to find out how Jordan can afford that lifestyle!
wink.gif

Feck me, you are no bearer of politeness yourself and you bleddy know it. He might have used a few swear words but I would rather be that than think I am some character of perfection. He isn't the first person you have hounded and NO doubt he won't be the last. What is it with you?

crazy.gif

I don't 'hound' anyone. You seem to be passing judgement with little knowledge of me, you've only 84 posts and joined in June this year so you know all about my posting habits do you? For your information, JR sent me a very threatening PM, which was duly reported to admin and also called me and others obcene names on his thread, all because we were offering help. He didn't want help because he was set out to cause disruption, classic troll behaviour.

Run back to NR and play with your bunny rabbits, or is that EW??????

EW?? Don't know what you are talking about. I may have joined more recently but that does not stop people reading posts. AND I am sure I read posts where you were critiscizing and hounding another poster?

Leave it be, it's not acceptable in my opinion to say things like this no matter what you thought of a person or their abilities.

I was a complete beginner when I had my first pony with unknowledgeable parents.

It has nothing to do with level of knowledge, all to do with attitude, something JR has a lot of. I'm only critical if people deserve it.

So he had an attitude problem and he deserved? Losing his horse?

Some people might say I have an attitude problem, likewise yourself, I don't particularly like people. I like my family and my animals. I am not very sociable, I am quite happy to avoid human friendship because it does nothing but leave me disappointed. I have probably met and lived with the wrong people in my lifetime. However, I am still very sympathetic to my fellow people, whatever their ilk, history, attitude, problems etc.

Maybe I am more sympathetic than you, I don't know, you seem quite harsh in your judgements.
