For those who keep horses at home

I've got this dilemma at the moment. Have rung local riding school who has put me in touch with an instructor.

I wanted an older lady i could trust to come up and check they still have their legs etc! She will have very little to do though as mine come and go as they please, so just pay for hay and water and the reassurance if anything was amiss she could deal with it.

Thankyou for your help everyone, I am in the camp of not wishing to ask others as I have three living in which is hard work for someone possibly doing their own aswell. I am gonna hopefully find someone else local to pay for help.

My poor old dad bought me my 1st pony 27 years ago and still gets roped in. I try not to go away when they're in, but to be fair, he helps me muck out half the time anyway, so as long as I make up lots of haynets (he hates that) he doesn't complain too much! I look after their dog and chickens when they're away so works well.
I also used to give free stable and grazing to a girl and we looked after each others', but not ideal as it ended up with her going away loads and leaving me with her horse to look after which we weren't charging for anyway!!

I do them when B and family are on holiday and B does them when i am on holiday! We never all go on holiday together so this works fine!

Usual arrangement is B does them in the mornings (feeds turns out etc) and i do them in the evenings (muck out bring in feed etc)
