For those who went to YHL - question

Did anyone get their boots cleaned by the men who were sat down advertising a leather cleaning product (like a grease in a brown/black tub - applied on by a sponge, looked wet, but dried and looked really nice)?
I was meaning to buy a tub of it but have no idea what it is called, all I know was they there were men sat down in an open stand demonstrating this on people's boots.
Any info would be great thanks.

I bought some once but regretted it as my boots became very sticky.

Others may have found it ok but I found it built up to be sticky especially when it rained but maybe just me

Used it once, found it was crap to be truthful, have never used it since! Would not recommend it

no!! dont get URAD its horrible! get the RENAPUR, in a white tub. URAD also sell grotty indian tack..

I think it was called Chelsea Leather something or other not 100 % sure though

I had my boots cleaned with that stuff - they did come up very nicely. Was going to get some for the sofa - glad I didnt now!

Yep me too - I had to strip clean my Cavallos to get them back to normal after using that stuff.

ditto Prittstick - Renapur is great the trick is to only use a really small amount - it seems expensive but a tub lasts for ages.

Yep I bought some URAD at Olympia last year. It's disgusting to use and makes the leather tacky. I threw mine out.

I can't stand those annoying people. You cannot go anywhere near their stand at YHL, Burghley, HOYS, etc. without them trying to wipe their goop over my footwear. They have even tried to do it to suede shoes!
