For those with comfort zone stud girths

When using for XC do you trust the velcro for the martingale attachment or do you use a clip to attach it to the D ring.

Haven't used it yet but will on weekend, am thinking of having the velcro strap altered and a buckle fitted.

I put the attachment through the ring, then completely undo the velco and loop that through the Breastplate. So the Leather of the BP goes between the ring and the girth, then gets secured if that makes sense!?

I use the velcro but completely undo it and then put it through the martingale loop if that makes sense. Its then double velcro and pretty secure. Never had it undo on my yet but i've only SJed in it.

Used mine for 2 seasons with no problems but I do keep clean and check how sticky etc. Also quite like the fact that if we were caught it would hopefully break, most things should under pressure, eg headcollars, leadropes etc
