For whoever is button pushing Lolo- congratulations

My guess is that because she credited our tog friend in her signature with a link to his website some sad eff has deemed it advertising which frankly is a load of tosh! This infringement has been added to previous wrong doings on Lolos part (posting links to pictures, heck how could she!) and lead to another ban. For all the out and out bitching, rudeness and almost bullying that goes on on this site I have to say its pretty poor show of TFC to be so amazingly unfair in supporting which ever lovely that keeps button pushing on my sister.
 
I've never button pushed so I'm wondering what happens when you do. Is the post automatically removed until TFC has had a chance to deal with it? Do you have to say why it should be removed? Can anyone tell me please.

You get told immediately when you receive an infraction, what it's for.

Is it too much to hope for, though, that TFC could use a little of his common sense at times???

No, the post is only removed once TFC has received and responded to a button push.

You have to state the reason when you report the post.

Poor Lolo :( Some people are so very spiteful and she seems to get ridiculously long bans!! In the 'old days' a ban would only be for a couple of days, not 10 or more days.

Even if your tog friend makes no money out of it and gives people the pictures to use, it is considered advertising. Utterly ridiculous because what exactly you are advertising if nothing is for sale is beyond me. Add to that the fact that the person who does pictures for me regularly has pics added to other people's posts which aren't pulled makes me think there is a pro photographer out there who spots people's posts with what they think is 'competition' and reports them. Which only makes me less likely to purchase pro prints.
 
Sorry for whoever did this, they clearly can't see that this forum needs more members like Lolo not less.

I think Lolo on the basis that someone clearly has an issue with you and in particular you posting photos it would be a good idea for you to read the T&Cs and TFCs sticky in PG so that you can make darn sure that any photos are strictly within the rules. Even if you think the rules are daft..... that way you can keep coming on and posting reports.

I'd suggest that you only post non-pro pictures taken by you or a family member for safety. Certainly don't post anything with a watermark.

You can always just say "there are more pictures on my facebook page" and then those who you know on FB can see your photos.

I suspect that the person button pushing you is probably a tog who feels your tog is getting unfair publicity, you have my sympathy, I got a red card from TFC recently for giving someone, who asked, a link to my DH's website.

I had an infraction for having my signature too big (although it was the same one I had had for about 2 years!!) - why on earth has she been banned over it??:mad::mad::mad::mad:
 
Mum wouldn't do that, she's totally chilled about us revising (mad woman!!! :L) cos she reckons that we need to do the work ourselves and if she's pushing us it's pointless. So if we want to do something she'll help us allshe can but if we dont then she doesn't. Means we're never the ones crying at comps ;)

Ugh. Had a gossip with her on the phone and coo-ed over the latest Reggie photos that I'm going to buy (yeah, never too many...). We'd share,but... Lol!!! Thanks for the support. Hate seeing my big sister upset by some loser!!! Kat, that's the plan now. We get nothing from saying Trevor rocks aside from losing his work at the shows mum runs cos he'll get better offers ><

Will ask Trevor for a low-res version for FB and stuff because Freggles is too cute not to share... Such a keen pony :D
 
The fact many other people have had issues with their signature and been given an infraction while Lolo has been banned screams injustice. Apparently this latest offence has been added to her previous ones- that she has already been punished for?! Would love for the TFC to shed some light on this if at all possible -.-
 
See it's most annoying because I would certainly like to see the pro pics of Reg from little downham, but because you can't post direct links to the images on the website, or even the appropriate album, I can't find the right ones as it's a maze of albums (by start time and such) which isn't easy to navigate if you don't know the details!

Not a lot that you can do, clearly, since the forum is making it so difficult to share those photos, but it's still frustrating.

I made a tounge in cheek comment about Lolo's siggy (I thought it was a fab sig!) but I never dreamed that would become the next issue!

Who knows what is going on. I keep getting infactions for things, one of mine was my sig (hence why I don't have a picture one anymore!) plus photos that I post. I don't know if its just HHO being uber strict about every little thing which if they are they must have afull time person working on scrutinising our posts or if it's just some weirdo who hates to see anyone nice being nice who knows.

Sorry Lolo, there are lots of lovely people and unfortunatly lots of people who are rather nasty (how unhappy they must be!).

Chin up, there are lots of people on here that really enjoy your posts and think your a decent person. That is the main thing :). It's just a shame that some horrid nasty has to ruin it for everybody else.
 
I got a warning from fatty when my sig was to big as some one button pushed me for it being 20 pixels to big :rolleyes: now why has lolo been banned for this when every one else gets a warning?!? :mad: Fatty I think you have some explaining to do here.......
 
If it's about pro photos in posts, there is a post in this forum where at least 4 out of 5 posters have posted what looks like a pro picture.

I think they do a kind of cumulative thing, I think you get a warning normally for an over sized siggy, but if you have several warnings in a certain period of time then the minor things add up to a ban. Like with speeding penalties on your driving licence.

But fatty hasnt even told lolo why she was banned (again!), surley if he had told her then she would be aware of the issue, as it stands they are just guessing that some one had issues with her sig but they are not sure why.

Really? I *think* you can contact fatty even if you are banned, as plenty of people have had bans reduced for apologising, may be worth a try? I also think it was deemed advertising; I have had a warning for linking to a youtube video (of a horse and rider that I don't know/aren't even in the UK) which had a link to a commercial - though non horse related - URL at the end, which I hadn't even noticed!

And I would be careful Ali - I have been expressly warned by TFC in the past for acting as a go between for a banned member, and I wasn't even posting direct messages to/from them :confused:
 
Bugger - I came on here especially to look at her new sig that she mentioned in yesterdays post as was on my phone yesterday and things like that don't show up on phones.

Maybe whoever it is will have the guts to admit it :rolleyes:

She should have had a PM which would have been copied to her email.
