Ford Iveco WIng Mirror

Hi, have managed to smash my wing mirror glass on my lorry. Does anyone have any idea how I go about replacing it. DO i need to replace the whole wing mirror or just the glass?

the whole thing i think, check with your local ford commercial dealer though. such things are much cheaper on ebay fwiw...!

Sorry Mr forum policeman..there appeared to be no "Horsebox" or "Mechanical Questions" heading to post this under....so I assumed competition riders all must have transport to get to shows so could ask in here. Where would you have liked me to have posted it?

You may well be able to get just the glass but obviously need someone to put it in for you.

I got mine from a local parts shop, the whole thing just screws on very easily (must do if I managed myself!!) only £15 minus VAT

OMG Can't believe you've posted this here !
Only kidding smashed mine the other day ! Need to replace the whole unit. Easy repair, you can either go to a commercial scrap yard or ebay sell them, either origional part or a copy for about 8 quid.

Brian Currie's- got whole thing for £12 and they fitted it too.

The whole thing, but try a solution we have, the garage fitted two massive metal guards behind the mirrors made from metal (that criss cross stuff you see on box steps ) and now if I hit a branch the guard absorbs the pressure not the mirror. (it's saved me a fortune at £35 a mirror every time I break one)

I managed to get the old glass out of mine and went to a mirror place got a new one cut and dad put it in - much cheaper!!
