Forecast has changed...no rain! 😩

We had rain yesterday and some spotting today, but the ground has soaked it all up immediately and you basically can't tell we've had any. More forecast in the coming days, fingers crossed we can grow some grass (and that the water table starts to recover...)

Defra is warning farmers to prepare for a feed shortage this winter. If you can store hay, buy some now, and stock up on chaff as well.

We're down to 50% chance of rain this weekend

Yes, we are not selling any more of last year's forage just in case but Defra is always doom-warning!

I got up to walk the dogs this morning and it was raining about 3am. Southampton area.

Had stopped by the time we left at 3.20am.

Well it started raining at 10pm last night, there is about 2mm in the buckets outside this morning, oh well
