I ride my horse around 4 times a week schooling hacking and jumping, walk trot fine but canter he is sooo on his fore hand hangs on my hands and on photos looks like he is going to topple over - when jumping he is fine but just schooling.his teeth are done every 6 month and were done yesterday pictures.

had to cut me out terrible face pulling :)

Canter is often the last pace to come right so try not to worry! Lots of transitions (really good forward ones, not sloppy ones!), circles etc are fab. When you canter keep it nicely forwards and then make a downwards transition before he drops onto his forehand. You generally will struggle to fix it by doing lots of canter work, so transitions and forwardness (as with pretty much everything!) are the key. Also, although you obviously want some contact, try not to attempt to hold him up as you just give him an easy out. Over time he just needs to learn and develop the muscles to carry himself properly in all paces. Sounds like he could be being a smidge lazy though if he manages to get his arse in gear when jumping though!

I have the same problem, have been working with a good instructor to try and improve it. Have found that rein back has helped get his hocks underneath him and then helps the canter. Lots of transitions and also leg yield in canter but he needs to be carrying himself better before gets good at this
