Forelock Trimming

Trimmed my youngsters forelock last night. She looks like a goofy elf!!! What a mess... how do you do it - it was down past her nose and annoying her and her eyes.

I've never cut a forelock, only pulled it.

our haflinger doesn't get her fork lock touched - it's down past her nose lol

My warmblood however does get his pulled - just like his mane. Helps to thin it out and keep it tidy

Just pull it normally like you would the rest of her mane

Huh, mine's hardly got any forelock left after continually sticking her head into thistles this summer Everytime I picked them out she lost a bit more forelock - thank God they're all gone now!
