Here is the DEFRA consultation document. Please, everyone who has contributed to the originial thread, reply to the consultation. It is OK to respond to on line petitions, letters to MPs, etc. but this is IMPORTANT that individuals respond to the official site.
There was an article in the Daily Telegraph about the sell off and the likely loss of access for riders:
