Forget the carthorse "cobs" this is a TRUE Cob

Well I have a Welsh sec D and he certainly doesn't float at the trot, has very choppy stride, in fact I think he could tap dance for Wales and has an excellent pedigree. Nice natured but also has mind of his own.:):):):):):)

My friend had a beautiful filly, daughter of Nebo Daniel, called Nebo Danielle - found her at Stow market way back i think! Beautiful little mare :)

That name rings a bell - I may have known her 13, 14 years ago as a weanling.
Was she a chestnut with some white on her face?
If it was her that I remember  she moved like a dream, very big compared to the other weanlings and was at a yard in South East London. She also had a kick like a mule:eek:

I also have a Nebo gelding - by Nebo Thomas...

My mare has all of these bloodlines in her breeding...this is her dad (Tynyrheol Cymro)

and this is her dam - (Tycornel Llinos)

and this is Suzy herself (Tycornel Siwsan)

I once had the pleasure of looking after this scruffy lad, who is the son of Nebo Daniel, for a few days:

And here he is 'dolled up' as HOYS champion 2003:

An awesome animal, and an absolute gentleman through and through. :)

Tap dance for Wales. Excellent description! Sums mine up to a T. :)

That's a huge generalisation HG.

It is. I have known Gypsy bred horses who are shifty and smart in a nasty sort of way.

I loved my little welshy till her dying day, but she was blooming hard work! All because it was more important that the same horse was her great grandfather three times over than to ensure she was perfect all round.

I used to have a Trevallion bred stallion who went back to Nebo Black Magic and I couldn't have asked for a nicer natured horse. He could jump and do a pretty nice dressage test too.

I recognise that Daniel, Dubble and Chris on board too! Robin wanted an illicit liason between Dan and my sec B mare at Olympia in 2002.! He was a darling.
