Formula for feet

Have bought formula for feet hoof supplement for my horse but he refused to eat the feed with the supplement in it , any ideas how I can get him to eat it?
 
:)Mine have never had a problem with it - it has apple flavouring in it so they just hoover it up - mind you none of them are what you call fussy......:rolleyes:

Have you tried feeding it on its own to see if he will eat it?:confused:

If not get some cheap apple juice and pour that over the feed and see if that helps - or chop up lots of apples and carrots. I'm sure he will get used to it.:)
 
I am feeing it to my youngster, and he seems to lap it up!

Have you tried feeling it with chaff of some sorts? I wouldnt have thought he would be able to detect such a small amount in a bowl of feed!!
 
My horse is really fussy and he eats it, been on it for years after having lami few years ago, you could try some unmollassed sugar beet
 
Try some Alfa-A or alfalfa as this in its self its brillient for feet! Weve got 2 oldies at work they wouldnt eat the hoof suplement they were on now they scoff it and since theyve been on Alfa-a there feet have improved so much.:)
