Formula4feet

One of my clients uses it. She reckons it helps, or though she is quite novicey.

Another of my clients uses Biotin and she definitly get's results with that. If she ever runs out and doesn't buy any more her mares feet literally start falling apart! I don't think it upsets vit/min balance.

I did use Biotin, but it didn't work. My farrier said to try Formula4Feet, which I am, but only just started using it, so no change yet. Its just trial and error though, you should try it in case it works.

Formula4feet transformed my cobs feet! I'd definatly recommend it!

If you feed Formula4feet you won't need to feed the Top Spec or Lo-Cal as the Formula4feet is just a feed balancer, nothing more, nothing less.

Interestingly there is a forum on Yahoo called metabolic horse and most of the people on there agree that Top Spec and Lo-cal are just as good as Formula4feet and much cheaper.

Fantastic stuff. Used a feed balancer (worked a bit), used a top up of biotin (again worked a bit). On the Formula 4 feet His feet are great and not only that you will also notice that it will give them a fantastic coat!!

Ditto, you shouldn't feed the balancer with it as it is technically speaking a balancer too but even more concentrated. It will have v. little feeding value (energy and protein wise) and you will still need to supplement salt but other than that it pretty much gives them everything they need and the rest!! If you work it out on a daily basis you will find it is cheaper than your balancer pellets to feed!!

I've just started using it on recommendation from my vet- It's a bit too early to say I've seen an improvement but other people on my yard have used it with good results.

Dont panic. i think the feeding levels for a 500kg horse is about 125g (be less for oyur little ones!!) so work out how much that is per day compared to your 500-600g of your balancer. Just for a like for like basis.

its managed to get our thoroughbred from being shod every other day (really) to routinely going 6 weeks and the farrier can actually cut hoof off! nearly had to resort to gluing the shoes one the feet started off so bad. expensive but so much cheaper than the farrier so much
