Forum Angst?

If people don't like the forum.............why do they come on and do a post moaning about it?! Surely it would cause them less distress to just navigate away from the page.

At the end of the day, I love ponies.........and I like talking to other people who love ponies! There is nothing wrong with healthy debate, but when I do get drawn in, all too often none of my questions get answered anyway.

Can't we all just get along..............

Its easy to get het up when you are passionate about something. And some peoples lack of common sense on here does grate on me a bit.

I dont mind lack of common sense or people not having a clue....

....the reason being if they are on here asking questions then surely that indicates an insight into the fact that they know that they dont know and are wanting to learn?

What really really grates on my danglers is people who 'think' they know it all, look down their noses at other people and instead of offering the benefit of their wisdom post sarcastic, nasty little comments intended to make other people feel shite about themselves.

Mercifully theres not that many of them....but the ones there are, are more irritating than thrush.

I agree. My mum knows NOTHING about horses but I trust her to look after mine since, she knows she is a novice so asks if she is unsure about anything.

There are some people who have had horses for years that I wouldn't let near mine since they have the arrogance to think they know everything........which can be very dangerous!

I think people really need to lighten up a bit.
My post was friendly advice, I wasn't specifically having a go at anyone and tbh couldn't give a crap if anyone thought I was.
There seems to be some very paranoid people on this forum nowadays.
 
I think you might the paranoid one.

Your post was not FRIENDLY advice, it was a bit harsh and it WAS directed at someone. My post however, is the result of an accumulation of various posts and not particularly directed at anyone.

If you want people to lighten up, I suggest you don't post things that you know will piss people off.

They are probably like that because of 'friendly' advice from arrogant,nasty individuals like yourself.

My post was freindly advice, as I personally know some vets are specifically trying to get such forums shut down.
My post was not directed at anyone, yes a specific post spawned the idea in my head but thats it.
As for knowingly pi55ing people off, I would never do such a thing. Fromre ading through the answers on the post it is obvious that the majority of people are dealing with condescending a55holes of vets, and that is really sad.
My advice was geared towards telling people that they do not have to put up with this, rather than an attack on the 'abilities' of other forum members.
 
Well if that was the way it was intended, absolutely fair enough......but I doubt that anyone has taken it that way.

I can't speak for everyone but to me it totally sounded as if you think that most of the people on here know nothing and that we should all sell up and find another hobby.

Thanks for pointing out my paranoia......I will pop to the doctor and get medicated asap.

Maybe I should start going out of the house again........although I'm worried about the voices that tell me to burn things......

Yes, it's nice to get along but it's not always possible, that's life tho!
