Just read the 'Causing Trouble' thread relating to people from this forum who have been posting on another. I just wondered how many forums everyone are members of? I don't seem to have much time to read & post on this one let alone mooch around other forums.

So how many are you linked to & are they all horsey or are they linked to other hobbies etc? :)

I am a member of 3 others,2 of which I have never posted let alone even lurked to see what is on there. Did do the US one for a while because found it quite amusing to see their take on things. but this is really the only one I use sort of on a regular basis, oh forgot to say they are all horsey.

I'm on this, facebook and have subscribed to netmums and a book club forum but I hardly ever go on those. I'm loving this forum, tbh I've learnt a lot since joining :)

Oh, I didn't include fb or twitter

In that case I'm members of all three, but only go on in spurts and am just as boring on there as I am clearly on here lol

Tinap - now watch this thread die lol :)

I'm on here, Facebook, Twitter, and COTH. COTH not as much anymore. But I am American so it keeps me connected. Plus there are actually some very good people on there as well as here.

I'm a member of:

Horse and Hound
Trot Online
and Free Speech Horse

and various FB groups, including a Barefoot and Bitless one, which I enjoy, nice group of people, very knowledgeable about diets and such but can't really say a lot on as all my horses have bits and shoes, the poor beasts. I joined it because I wanted to find out where a barefoot enthusiast would draw the line and put shoes back on a horse if all avenues of barefoot transition had been tried and the horse wasn't coping, I haven't found the answer yet.

I joined the one that has recently caused so much furor before I found and joined this one. Spend less time on that now, as many of the more articulate posters have gone away, and I got fed up with the nutso (see American right wing) politics of most of the posters. Only yesterday, when I went over there to see the problematic thread, the "shout out" at the top was someone saying the government taking your guns is the first step of tyranny. Really, guys? If I want to hear that sh** t, I'll watch Fox News.

I occasionally lurk at the Chronicle for my American horsey fix and I'm a member of an Irish traditional music forum as well.
