Where can I buy one of these from? Ideally I just want a plain Nuumed HiWither one but for some reason a forward cut one is double the price of a GP one. The only other numnahs I can find have bits of dead sheep all over them. I'm not really a jumping person so don't know where to look. Am looking for:
Forward cut
High wither
Black
Plain thin fabric
Numnah rather than pad

I'd have a look at the permier equine web site. I have a high wither jumping saddle cloth that sounds just like what your after. I'm pretty sure they do numnah's too

No its not close contact, whic is why I don't really want to pay the extra for the Nuumed one. It is only slightly more forward cut than my GP but my current numnah doesn't quite fit. Will have a look at Premier Equine.

Hmm, my sister just got one of these (or sounds like what you want anyway) from a stall at Bramham horse trials. i can't remember what the make is but they came in grey, black, white and maybe brown and there was no sheepskin in sight! Think it was about £20 odd. I can't recall the make though but it is nice and cut forward (they do them standard, forward cut or dressage if i recall) with a high wither bit. If you PM my sister (Stencilface) she may be able to tell you what make it is.

Might be worth trying one of these http://www.amirashop.co.uk/acatalog/Eskadron_Saddle_Cloths.html scroll down to about half way - shaped jumping cloth, sort of 'oval' looking. I had one I bought at Scope and it was excellent with my jumping saddle, though has my last horses name on! Plan on getting a few more to use on my new horse :)
They're a pain to find though, found a handful on ebay, something like 'german shaped saddlecloth'
