Forward cut saddles: are some horses impossible to fit?

I would not accept the saddle if it does not feel good, nor would I ride in it as if you do you will not be able to send it back.
I also LOVED Butet saddles with my previous horses, sadly my current horse was not so keen, so I sold them both :-( . I found he cannot stand a forward facing tree point, so I have had to have a jump saddle made on a straighter cut dressage tree, and in this he is totally happy. If I were buying another I would also look at the Fairfax as they seem to have a straighter tree point, and a supporting free "blister" to support the flap while leaving the shoulder free.

I have a falcon VSS. Its a GP tree but big forward cut knee rolls and a square cantle, designed for jumping. My horse jumps big too, the flat backed cantle stops me getting 'out jumped' and the knee rolls really make me feel secure. It is a fairly big bulky saddle though, compared to monoflap saddles.

Assuming that I have understood your post correctly and it is the correct company I feel your pain.

I had quality issues with a saddle from them last year, luckily I purchased mine through a saddler who have allowed me to change brand at no cost to me, loaned me a saddle while mine was "repaired" and fought my cause with said company for a number of months.

If you are not happy with the GP and you have no luck then perhaps they may be worth talking to and seeing what they can do to help with regards to part - x. I know that will cost a but but may get you sorted in the long run?
