Forward cut stud girth

My mare has now caught herself twice in front of the stud girth.
She tucks her legs up and forward.

Not to bothered about the usual protection behind the girth but looking for suggestions for one that is well cut forward.

Have a look at Kate Negus and Butet stud girths, both have a more prominent front. Think it'll be hard to find a gith to protect that area without interfering or rubbing

Thanks I will have a look. Agree it will need to be soft leather or even synthetic otherwise will rub or irritate.

Its pricey but what about the Amerigo Protector Dressage Girth? Looks very forward cut between front legs. http://www.dressagedeluxe.co.uk/Shop.asp?viewmode=vp&pid=1932

I had a slip on stud girth for this reason and it rubbed his side open on one xc round :-( I'm looking at the Fairfax one now as have the dressage girth and jumped in school ( no studs) and I can see the marks of where he touches so far so good.

I've got a Kate Negus one which is pretty well cut for all round protection...expensive though!!

It needs to be a long girth.
